NSI Electrical Technician Inters perform a wide variety of duties associated with Industrial X-Ray system production, installation, and reporting.
Learn and perform duties in mechanical assembly of capital equipment per drawings or verbal instruction
Fabrication of components per engineered drawings or verbal instructions to include cutting, drilling and taping
Electrical assembly per schematics
Wire and cable termination from equipment to electrical panel
Assist in system power-up and troubleshooting
Assist in motion programming and software set-up
Preparation of equipment or systems for shipment
Completion of system quality documentation and required ISO 9001 documentation
Maintain and control of stock inventory levels
Other duties as assigned
Mechanical & electrical aptitude
Knowledge of fabrication & assembly techniques
Blue print and schematics reading
Safe operation of hand & power tools
Good communication skills and team player abilities
Basic knowledge of motion programming
Candidate must be able to safely operate hand & power tools, climb ladders of up to 15', bend, twist, kneel, stand for extended periods of time, step into cabinets
Completion of one semester of electrical or automation course curriculum
Hourly wage for internship program is set at $ 16.00.
Passing results on both pre-employment drug and background checks (which includes driving record) are required.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Must be able to provide proof that you are legally able to work in the United States.
Steel toed shoes are required for active work in manufacturing, supplied by intern.
